Injured Wildlife
The Gippsland region has an abundant diversity of wildlife. It is not uncommon that we are presented with injured wildlife ranging from Koalas, Wallabies, birds and reptiles. These animals are examined and if suitable for rehabilitation will be treated for thier injuries and sent to one of our licenced wildlife carers until they can be returned to the wild. We will examine injured wildlife at no cost.
Some tips if you come across injured wildlife:
- Collect them in a towel or blanket and transport them in dark enclosed box
- remember where you found them so they can be released here once healthy
- if you require assistance you can contact Help For Wildlife 0417 380 687 or Wild Line 0500 540 000
