Diagnostic Imaging
X-rays and ultrasounds play an important part in veterinary medicine. At West Gippsland Veterinary Centre we have an X-ray machine and and three ultrasound machines to service small and large animals. Dr Megan Thomas, who has received intensive training in ultrasonography, performs the majority of our ultrasounds. We are a PennHIP Accredited centre for the prevention of Hip Dysplasia.
Endoscopy
We have both a flexible and rigid endoscope system at our centre. This provides an non-invasive method to examine those "hard to get to" places!

Dental disease is common amongst small animals. Simple measures can be followed to prevent dental disease. Regular brushing of your pets teeth and dietary managment are an important means of keeping your pets teeth and gums healthy. However, some pets will benefit from a dental including a scale and polish. We have a full dental suite enabling us to perform more difficult dental procedures.
